Jay Tucker, President, began Old Hampshire Designs in 1984 after working for Timberpeg as both a designer and production coordinator. He is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the New Hampshire Green Building Council, the Greater Lake Sunapee Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of New Hampshire, and MBA at Plymouth State University.
Bill Andrews, Project Manager, graduated from Keene State University and has worked in the building construction industry for over 30 years. Several of the homes Bill has built are featured on our website. Bill also taught woodworking at the Cardigan Mountain School.
Bill Demers got an early start as a custom finish carpenter while working as an apprentice in his father’s business. The Demers Wood Specialties team began subcontracting for Old Hampshire Designs, Inc. in 1995, producing custom millwork for residential and commercial building contracts. Bill made the transition to becoming a Project Manager with Old Hampshire Designs in 2019.
Accounts Manager Amy Maki joined the team in 2025. With a keen eye for detail and commitment to exceptional service, Amy excels at building client trust, managing complex accounts, and keeping financial processes running seamlessly.
Sam Tucker began as our CAD Designer in 2019 and works closely with the Design staff to develop renderings for our clients.
Wendy Parker is our Office, IT and Marketing Manager. She joined the team in 2013 with degrees in both business and science.
